Happy New Year from Amani Tiwi Beach Resort!
The resort is set to open later on this year and we will be confirming the opening date shortly. Reconstruction work is well underway and interior decor has now been confirmed. The first phase shall open later this year with phases 2 and 3 following. Whilst retaining many of its original features, several new and exciting upgrades have been introduced at Amani Tiwi Beach Resort. The first phase shall see Amani Tiwi Beach Resort launch with:
- 212 impressively decorated rooms
- 5 restaurants
- A fantastic range of water sports with an onsite diving school
- A thematic kids club
- Tennis courts
- Massage facilities
- Beauty parlour and many other recreational facilities.
- a business centre and conference facilities available for the business traveller
- A range of packages to suit the needs of all clients
The resort has a philosophy to be attentive and respectful to different needs and the environment. It is unique from most other coastal hotels in Mombasa as it is Eco Friendly and has taken many steps to ensure that the environment is cared for. Examples of this include:
- The Introduction of solar panels to make the most of the abundant Kenyan sunshine to provide power for the resort,
- Planting an organic vegetable garden, the produce from which will be used in the kitchens
- The introduction of composting of kitchen waste
- The introduction of eco-friendly sports such as kayaking, Boogie Boarding and Windsurfing (to name a few) to protect the marine life around Tiwi.
